Albemarle Street Partners (ASPIM), acquired by WisdomTree in May, has launched the WisdomTree Core ETF Model Portfolios, a new range of five actively managed portfolios built using ETFs.
The firm writes that the launch broadens ASPIM’s offering alongside its established, fully open-architecture model portfolio range. As announced last week, ASPIM will rebrand to WisdomTree Portfolio Solutions in February 2027.
The firm writes that the new Core ETF Model Portfolios open up a wider world of investment opportunities, giving advisers and their clients access to broader diversification across factors, thematics, commodities and fixed income.
The launch supports the evolving needs of advisers and their clients. Changes to the treatment of pensions from April 2027 are bringing greater focus to intergenerational wealth planning, while advisers are increasingly seeking to support clients and their families with a broader range of investment preferences and expectations.
At the same time, a new generation of investors is drawn to investment ideas and powerful trends shaping the future, from commodities to artificial intelligence.
The Core ETF Model Portfolios build on the asset allocation and portfolio construction expertise underpinning Albemarle Street Partners’ established open-architecture range.
The new portfolios use ETFs to expand the market exposures available to the investment team, while maintaining diversification at the heart of portfolio construction.
Charlie Parker, Head of ASPIM, says: “Adviser and client needs are evolving, with intergenerational wealth planning an increasingly important focus. We are seeing the next generation of investors wanting greater visibility over where they are invested and having access to specific investment ideas and long-term trends that may be difficult in model portfolios.
“Our established open-architecture range remains central to our offering. The WisdomTree Core ETF Model Portfolios broaden the choice available to advisers, drawing on the same investment expertise and commitment to diversification and disciplined portfolio construction.”
The new range consists of five portfolios spanning the risk spectrum: Core Cautious, Core Balanced, Core Moderately Adventurous, Core Adventurous and Core Equity. Each combines Albemarle Street Partners’ strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction and active management with the transparency, flexibility and breadth of ETFs.
The firm writes that the portfolios will be implemented predominantly using WisdomTree ETFs, complemented by carefully selected third-party ETFs where necessary to provide more appropriate market exposures.
The existing range of model portfolios offered by Albemarle Street Partners remains unchanged and will continue to be managed on a fully open-architecture basis.
The portfolios will have a DFM fee of 0.05 per cent, with total OCFs ranging from 0.25 per cent to 0.35 per cent depending on the risk profile of the portfolio.
Pierre Debru, Chief Investment Officer, Europe, WisdomTree, says: “ETFs have evolved into highly versatile and efficient portfolio building blocks which are well suited for model portfolios. The Core ETF Model Portfolios complement Albemarle Street Partners’ long-established open-architecture model portfolio range. Both are built around the same disciplined approach to asset allocation, portfolio construction and active management, giving advisers greater choice in how they access Albemarle Street Partners’ investment expertise.”
The WisdomTree Core ETF Model Portfolios are available to financial advisers on Aberdeen, Fundment, 7iM, Transact and Quilter, with more platforms to follow.
